BOOKING TERMS

• 30% of the tour cost is required at the time of booking as an advance.
• Balance 70% of the tour cost is due 45 days before the travel date

• 30-60 days before the trip: 30% of the tour cost
• 30 to 15 days before the trip: 50% of the tour cost
• 15-0 days days before the trip: 100% of the tour cost

THE FINE PRINT

• Group Requirements: A minimum of 4 people are necessary to operate the tour group.
• Meals: All meals provided are at the designated camps, hotels, or lodges unless specified otherwise. If any meals are missed, they cannot be replaced with outside food, and no compensation will be provided for missed meals.
• Departure Time: On the final day, departure from Masai Mara is at 10 a.m. Extensions are possible, but an extra day of park fees will apply.
• Safari Vehicles: Safaris will be conducted in private 4X4 Landcruisers. Transfers between destinations might be in a Landcruiser or SUV, neither of which will be air-conditioned.
• Park Permits: Park permit fees are subject to changes by government authorities. Any changes will be communicated, and any difference in cost will be the guest's responsibility.
• Permit Validity: Permits for Masai Mara National Reserve are valid only within the main reserve. Additional fees apply for visits to the Mara Triangle or any private conservancy.
• Vaccinations: A Yellow Fever vaccination is mandatory for travel. Some countries, such as India, may also require an oral polio vaccine.
• Baggage Allowance: Local flights within Africa have a strict baggage allowance of 15 kg. Excess baggage will incur additional charges as per the airline's policy.
• Valuables: Guests are advised not to leave valuables in vehicles during sightseeing. The Company is not responsible for the loss of valuables from the vehicle.
• Park Timings: It is crucial to adhere to national park entry and exit times, typically from sunrise to sunset but varying by park. Delays caused by the guests, such as flight or shopping delays, may result in being denied park entry after official hours and the need to arrange accommodation outside the park at the guest's expense.
• Extra Fees for Delays: Delays in exiting national parks beyond the agreed itinerary may incur additional park fees, which the guest must pay. Park fees are included based on the itinerary and are generally payable in 24-hour slots in Kenya and per entry per day in Tanzania. Additional costs will apply for extra time spent or additional entries and exits.
• Vehicle Conditions: African conditions can be tough on vehicles. While vehicles are well-maintained, occasional breakdowns may occur and should be seen as part of the adventure. Alternative routes may be taken during wet weather, potentially extending travel times.
• Travel Time Estimates: The estimated driving time between destinations may vary due to road conditions, weather, and traffic.
• Service Availability: Hotel confirmations and other services are subject to availability until payment is received. Notifications will be provided once bookings are confirmed.
• Itinerary Changes: Occasionally, the itinerary may need to be altered due to climatic, political, physical, or other reasons. In such cases, alternative arrangements will be made to maintain the tour's integrity.
• Payment Charges: All bank charges, SWIFT fees, wire transfer charges, intermediary bank fees, payment gateway charges, etc., are the responsibility of the payee/guest. The Company will only consider the net amount received after these deductions. Short payments due to these charges will be considered incomplete.
